Building on Progress: Why I’m Seeking Re-Election to the RVIA Board of Directors

When I first ran for the RV Industry Association Board of Directors, I shared my belief that the future of our industry depends on collaboration, innovation, and continually improving the RV ownership experience. Today, after serving my first term, that belief is stronger than ever.

The RV industry has experienced significant change over the past three years. We’ve navigated shifting consumer demand, evolving supply chains, changing economic conditions, and increasing regulatory complexity. Through it all, one thing has remained clear: our industry’s greatest strength is our willingness to work together.

Serving on the RVIA Board has given me the opportunity to contribute to conversations that extend far beyond my role at Genesis Products. Every day, I work with RV manufacturers across multiple brands, which gives me a unique perspective on both the strategic challenges facing our industry and the day-to-day realities our members experience. As a supplier, we’re able to see opportunities and trends that span the entire market—not just one manufacturer or one segment of the business.

That perspective has reinforced something I’ve always believed: decisions are strongest when they’re made with the entire industry in mind.

One of the accomplishments I’m most proud of during my first term has been the Board’s continued commitment to collaboration. Manufacturers, suppliers, dealers, campground partners, and RVIA leadership have worked together to address challenges while keeping our focus on the long-term health of the industry. Even during uncertain market conditions, we remained committed to strengthening communication, advocating for our members, and ensuring the RV industry remains competitive for years to come.

My service on the Board has also changed how Genesis engages with the industry. We’ve become more involved in advocacy efforts, collaborative initiatives, and strategic conversations that help shape the future of RV manufacturing. It’s given us a greater appreciation for the perspectives across every segment of the industry and strengthened our commitment to contributing ideas that benefit the entire RV community.

As I seek re-election, my priorities are clear.

First, I want to continue protecting the competitiveness of RV manufacturing by advocating for policies that support domestic manufacturing, resilient supply chains, and access to the specialized materials our industry depends on.

Second, I believe we must continue strengthening collaboration across manufacturers, suppliers, dealers, campground partners, and RVIA. Our best solutions have always come from working together, and that collaboration will only become more important as our industry evolves.

Finally, I remain passionate about growing the next generation of RV consumers. That means supporting innovation that improves affordability, enhances the ownership experience, and ensures more families discover the lifestyle that has made this industry so special.

When I first sought a seat on the Board, I said I wanted to help create change rather than simply talk about it. Serving over the past three years has reinforced that commitment. While we’ve made meaningful progress, there is still important work ahead.

I would be honored to continue serving the RV industry and helping shape a strong, innovative future for everyone who depends on it.Thank you for your continued support.
